DG - Renewal Procedure

Registered DG has to be renewed for every 3 years in the TNEI portal. Follow the below instructions for DG renewal or Re-registration

Step – 1

1. Go to www.tnei.tn.gov.in website, and Login the site

2. Click – Submit existing registration of generator (Form A1) and then click submit Existing registration (Form A1)

3. Enter the date (Name & Address, DG Details as in your existing form A2 (registration certificate in renewal portal)

4. Upload scanned copy of form A2 and click apply

5. Inform electrical inspectorate office and get approval for renewal.

Step - 2

1. Click – Certificate of registration (Form A2) and check the status request for renewal

2. Continue the process & generate form A1 form the renewal portal

3. Verify the data for correction

4. Manufacturers serial number of engine and alternator should be mentioned

Payment

1. Generate registration fees challan and make payment at SBI/Treasury branch.

2. Upload the scanned copy of the paid challan and enter the reference no.

Step - 4 

1.   Submit paid challan, Generated A1, copy of previous registration certificate along with your letter at your Electrical inspectorate office.
